As an aesthetic nurse specialist, I’ve been in the medical aesthetics and beauty space for 12 years now and it truly has become me! There are no boundaries when it comes to skin care and beauty — I live and breathe it. HOW DID YOU BECOME A NURSE?

A lot of hours and hard work! I’ve been a registered nurse for fourteen years and got into aesthetics twelve years ago. I’ve always been a beauty junkie, so naturally, aesthetics was a great way to combine my passion and career. It began with laser procedures and it eventually progressed into invasive procedures, such as injectables. Currently I’m in grad school, in the process of obtaining my Nurse Practitioner Degree.

What is your favorite skin care product?

This is a tough one, but I would have to say sunscreen. My current obsession is Alastin HydraTint Pro Mineral sunscreen. It's a broad spectrum sunscreen providing UVA/UVB protection and an SPF 36. It provides lightweight tint coverage, for a soft glow. your favorite aesthetic procedure?

My favorite aesthetic procedure is Microneedling. It helps with skin texture (think wrinkles and pores) and overall skin quality. What I love most about microneedling is, the downtime is minimal( 1-2 days) and the results are immediate. It gives you an instant glow within a couple days. You can also customize the treatment by adding PRP (platelet rich plasma) for an extra collagen boost. Microneedling is a great option for those who are not ready for Botox, but would love to improve fine lines.

I’ve been married for 12 years to my love and best friend, Geoff. We have two beautiful boys, Ashton and Cruz. Spending time with them is always a number one priority for me! As a mom of two boys, I have definitely learned to roll with the punches. They constantly teach me so much about myself and they push me out of my comfort zone.  My priority as a mom is to raise strong independent boys who have love, respect and compassion for others.
